Blimey. I didn't see that one coming. I remember watching this when I was just a TeenySavlon. I LaHoVeD it. And I'd say something like, "It's going to be crap as all remakes are" but then BSG isn't. |

Surely it can't be any worse than the original my fond recolections of seeing the original in '78 were crushed when it was repeated decades later it truley was a pile of "Elderado" |

Well, a lot of things don't age well because of the way production and FX, and acting techniques have progressed. Look at DrWho in the 1980's. Some eps were pretty ropey, however, the basic premise was a good one. And, in its own way it is still amusing and entertaining. So Blake7 - I think it'll be enjoyable if they can get decent writers and a good budget. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all works it. Don't get me wrong though, I'll be first in the queue to throw rotten fruit and veges at it if it's trash  |

Hi guys, I thought they were all killed in the end of the original series. Mind you it was thirty odd years ago too. I'm showing my age now & maybe I'm wrong lol. If Sky get it then I'll bet it'll be like that Dream Team crap they had on before. I mean with that show how much more football could you want? Football is their sports channels night & day...? There was a novel published that did try and get round the ending but in this case I suspect they will be looking at a 'reimagining' along the lines of Battlestar Galactica, which Sky does show, so they won't be bound by what happened in the original. |
