FQM have propered DOT's releases of Grey's and Ugly Betty now - for the same
reason. I can't see an issue with either of DOT's releases. Is this just FQM
playing silly PROPER games, or is there actually a problem ?

From what I can tell from the message posted on the PROPER Ugly Betty, FQM's
reason is that the cropping was not properly done. Having watched DOT's release
of Grey's, I did notice an approximately 3 pixel thick horizontal black line at
the bottom of the video. I wouldn't say it affected my viewing much at all, and
I wouldn't bother with the PROPER (I didn't). I'm assuming the PROPER will have
gotten rid of the horizontal line though. Perfectionists, start your downloads!

The GA episode is also slightly OOS in the final segment.

Hi guys,
From what I've read about this release group FQM they are very
particular about the quality of their (and maybe others) releases.

Fair play I say! I have yet to see ANY show released by FQM that
needed a PROPER. They themselves may have done a REPACK for some
anal reason but that's it!

These guys along with RiVER & iNGOT are the best release groups
I've seen in terms of quality & getting it right the first time. The latter two
groups do a lot of Top Gear & Fifth Gear releases & there has
never been a problem.

I'd like to see FQM & RiVER go head to head sometime (maybe they
already do!) but I think there wouldn't be anything in it between them.

If you want the best, given a choice between Capper X & either
RiVER or FQM, then go with the latter two IMHO. Their releases can
be bigger but you are guaranteed that the quality will be 100%.

Top drawer stuff!

Scene rules are in place to keep the quality of releases high, as we've all come
to expect.

That said, in this particular case, I've watched the DOT release and can find
anything wrong with it. An above message mentioned that the latter part was
OOS, so I re-watched it, and can't find any issue. I also can't notice the 3px
border on the bottom, or if it is there, it has no effect IMO.

I'd suggest that if you've already dl'ed the DOT release, you don't really need
this proper.

Apparently you're not aware that River only caps UK shows.

So you won't see River posting a proper for Grey's Anatomy, or any other
American show, anytime soon.

Nor would you see FQM and River "going head to head" either.

Apparently you didn't read my post. You just looked at it & then
jumped in with both feet. You just stated what I already said. As for 'going
head to head'...how do you know?

As for being 'owned'...I think that honour falls to you!

It's just that my cage was shaken & I didn't like it

TVFAN you were an innocent victim that became involved in my lack of
knowledge.

I don't know everything. Sorry if you saw that as a chance to try & put my nose
