Prepare to have the season finale ruined by Garry Shandling... I kept wishing someone in the public would yell at him to shut the hell up. Arianna Huffington and Phil Donahue could have made a great panel, but the show got hijacked by the worst kind of comedian: the unfunny one who thinks he's hilarious. Here's to a better choice of guests next season - out of all the seasons I've watched, this one was the by far the worst. |

It was mentioned at the beginning of the show that Shandling was putting off surgery on his recently broken leg to appear on Real Time. Given this and the way Gary was acting, it seemed to me that he was on some combination of pain killers. |

Shandling might suck, but he's miles better than the Dutch Somalian politician that was on a week or two back. I don't know why they keep asking her to join the panel, she just sits there and does nothing other than say one or two words when questioned directly. Waste of a panel seat.. |

That would make sense, since he's been on before and was not this bad. Him and Martin Short are indications that the show's going to be dominated by their antics rather than actual issues. There were some good points, though. See ya on August 22nd! (Only 4 months...) |

Is Garry Shandling on drugs? He said some really stupid things and I would classify this show as one of the worst Real Time EVER. The only intelligent stuff came form the old guy...Jesus. |
