It just looks like a second group got their's linked, too. It's not a proper. I've never seen a show double-represented on this site before. That's pretty impressive, when you think about it. |

they are both too BIG!!! Go to demonoid or bt-chat and get the NORMAL 350mb file. Uploaders please consider that many people have bandwidth problems, slow speeds, download quotas etc, so these oversized files consequently are a big problem. |

While BBC One's PDTV source isn't bad, the encode is still better when ripped from a HDTV feed despite being the same size and everything. in the end it has a sharper picture and more accurate color. |

Quit harping on the size of the encodes. Tje fact that two completely different groups have come put with caps only a few MB is size apart tells me that there has to be some reason for it - video quality, less compressed audio or something else. If you don't like the size then definitely say something about it but posting in every thread for the series that the cap is too big & to go to Demonoid or somewhere else for the "correct" size is complete crap. I understand bandwidth issues but there's plenty of room out there for multiple caps & compression ratios. I remember finding a group that were making available episode of Degrassi right after they aired on CTV (hey, I have a 16 year old daughter so be kind). Unfortunately, they felt that the lowest bandwidth folks had to be catered to so they were all in highly compressed .wmv format. Every episode was around 25-30 MB or so and virtually unwatchable on any television (and only mediocre at best on a computer. Since they were being capped from CTV's HD feed, I asked if anyone would possibly cap them in divx or xvid and got shot down in flames for it. At about that time I get a big sat dish and found the daily pre-feed to the affiliates, record them on my new Panasonic DVD recorder, ran a quick encode and / or just posted the MPEG file on the net. Point is, some people want quality over being able to fit 13 episodes on one CD. |

Doctor Who is on BBC and, before commercials are taken out, 60 minutes in length? And it is 350mb. Unless I am missing something here. |

There are no commercials on the BBC - Doctor Who just happens to be only 45 minutes long. |

Disagree; if you're watching on a flatscreen you really appreciate the quality. |

the bbc is funded by the tv licence and the other channels by adverts. The only problem is you pay an arm and a leg for the tv licence and yet there is nearly nothing worth watching but reruns |
