We didn't "know" - it was just fully expected, but nobody on the show had actually gone on record saying "hey, we're on ABC next season" until now. |

So they are doing another full season? I thought they were maybe going to air the final episodes on ABC because NBC didn't want to. Interesting turn of events. I noticed the Dr. Kelso thing. Surprising that NBC wanted to do it that way and end it on that note. Didn't notice that was suppose to be the last episode. That would have sucked. |

Just to clarify, is the 7th season still 18 episodes with another 18 for season eight? Or was My Princess the season finale? Has it been confirmed that season 8th will be the final one? |

According to The Futon Critic and other sources, season 7 was shortened from 18 to 11 episodes due to the writers' strike. Which means that the fairy tale episode was the season (and not series) finale. Since, according to Zach, they are filming season 8 now, and the final episode will be shown in the fall on ABC, that means that season 8 will probably have 18 episodes and will be shown during the summer. |
