if you wanna see the real ramsay try to get hold of "gordon ramsays boiling point" it was a mini series filmed in 1999 around the opening of his first restaurant.. he was a right arsehole in that, pretty abusive towards his staff. I still think he's one of the best chef's on the planet and thats from a chef's point of view.... best of all time..... marco pierre white. host of hells kitchen uk. what that bloke does'nt know is'nt worth knowing... cheers as ever EZTV. |

Isn't that where he was paid to endorse a certain kind of apple, and so he made a dessert using something like 90% of another type of apple and only 10% of the apple he was paid to use and endorse? He also said some bad things about the brand of apple. Then, of course, there was the time he ejected restaurant critic AA Gill and his companion Joan Collins from Gordon Ramsay; the time he was paid £3,500 to give a cooking demonstration using Bramley apples, only to insult the product he was supposedly promoting by substituting Granny Smiths; the time he and his staff pinched a load of truffles (during an interview with a journalist) from an itinerant Italian salesman... You could be forgiven for concluding that Ramsay is at least as interested in causing outrage and courting publicity as he is in preparing his fabled cappuccino of langoustines.
