"In Plain Sight" stars Mary McCormack (“The West Wing,” “Private Parts”) as Mary
Shannon, a U.S. Marshal working in the highly secretive branch of the witness
protection program (WITSEC) who relocates Federal Witnesses - many of them who
are career criminals, and many who are innocents that had the misfortune of
witnessing a crime. They all have one thing in common – someone wants them dead.

note: nothing to do with "911 in plane site" movie

Isn't the theme quite well exploited by now? I suppose it would be similar to
the movies "Bird On A Wire" and "Eraser", mentioning a few that I know of. Ergo,
the discovery of relocated Federal Witnesses by the elements who want them dead
and Mary Shannon thwarting their plans to eliminate them. The manner by which
she accomplishes her job, there lies the excitement of the show. I'm prejudging
of course, but how appealing could this be? Well....the first few episodes
will tell

What's with the strange 550Mb size?!?
I have to agree with rustydingo, killing the 4400 was a real bad move, and I
hope they will understand that in time!

550MB is the new(ish) size that The Scene has adopted for shows that run too
long to fit in 350MB, but are too short to warrant a full 700MB. Pretty sensible.

It's time they abandoned fixed filesizes altogether and focused on average
compression quality, but that's a whole other discussion.

Absolutely, heifer2, considering the scene standard file sizes were based on the
very obsolete 700MB CDROM.

It drives me crazy trying to use the space efficiently on a DVD with scene
releases. As you probably know, whole series either wont quite fit, or there is
a huge waste of space...

HQH.

it's not so much a conventional cop series, it's more like... Lorelai Gilmore
goes protecting witnesses and is really, really pissed off

#1: 4400 wasn't that good, and I doubt this show has anything to do with it's
demise.

#2: I'll give it a chance, cause damn she's hot, so that deserves watching a few
episodes.

She was a recurring character on the West Wing, and a primary character on some
HBO pseudo-reality-behind-the-scenes-politics show that got canceled. I
actually thought the show was pretty interesting. The reviews for this show, on
the other hand, have been consistently mediocre.

I know what She\'s been in, but I haven\'t seen any of it, including West Wing, so
for me this is the first Mary McCormack experience since Murder One.

Was that clarifying for you?
