ok, guilty pleasure, to be sure...but nonetheless, I'm bummed to hear that. I
loved the Don Conke character-so cool. Why would they do that?? Damn.

Guilty pleasure indeed. I'd NEVER buy one of those magazines in real life, and
I refuse to watch TMZ and other shows that cater to the same kind of
stories...but DAMN, I'm going to miss this show. FX, USA and Lifetime were
starting to become my GO-TO networks for off-beat, interesting, well-developed
characters and shows.

A couple of years ago FX canceled "Over There" (which bummed me out, too)...and
wasn't there something in the news recently about "Rescue Me" being postponed?
Then of course both "The 4400" and "Blood Ties" weren't renewed. God, I hope
The Riches, Burn Notice, and Army Wives don't get the axe. Won't be much left
on these alternatives for me to tune into (except Monk and L&O:CI, both on USA).

Oh well, there's still TNT. Damages, Saving Grace and The Closer all rock.

Anyone know what the ratings for "Dirt" were?

They were very bad... I believe both seasons 2 of Dirt and The Riches didn't
even get a million viewers, so you can probably except The Riches to get the axe
as well...

I'm more surprised when people write tons about not watching shows like this
and yet feel the need to tell us? It's like going along to a swimming pool with
a banner saying, "I think swimming is crap! I hate it!"

Everyone floats there are goes, "Then why are you here, ya weirdo?"

Dirt - saw quite a few eps. Wasn't terrible. It lacked something, though. It
seemed more like it should be a short series than a renewable product....and in
the end I guess it was
