The sound 'off' issue seems to crop up a lot. In science, to prove a theory is viable you need a lot of peer reviews, other people coming up with the same results. If something happens to one person, they call that 'anecdotal evidence'. Not to piss on people's actual beefs, or to dismiss an actual bad rip where the sound is off, but in future I think it would be wise to say 'Has anyone else experienced the soundtrack syncing out' instead of immediately dismissing it. In many cases it may be an individual issue with hardware/software. Stacks of solutions and the number one (in my opinion) is to use VLC... Of course I may be totally wrong and this might require a re-pack. Anyway, not attacking anyone, just bringing some logic down to this lovely corner of the web. So my anedotal evidence is that I've never experienced any sound sync issues with anything I've grabbed from EZTV. Great work and thanks to the uploaders and rippers who keep this site kicking ass. EDIT: And admins! |

Watched it about an hour ago, using my usual setup (streaming it across my network to my modded Xbox running XBMC [latest t3ch SVC build] connected to my 50" plasma HDTV) and it had absolutely no sync issues whatsoever. And since I'm partially deaf, I tend to look at people's mouths and lips when they speak, so I notice those right away. |

@Dr-Wally yes there is a lot of OOS wolf crying and in my experience 10% is correct and there is eventually a repack/proper. Especially if users I know corroborate it. Those are the ones that do know what they are doing. The rest are users with shall we say less experience having a problem with their hardware/software setup. That is why I am VERY skeptical when I see OOS claims from people I do not know. On top lots of them get aggressive when one tries to point out that the problem might be at their end. |
