Grace Park is just one of the MANY reasons to watch Battlestar. As for the SD version, it is a standard release, '2 hr' long. Won't bother to comment on the rest of your sexist crap. |

From TV.COM: A&E at Tuesday 10:00 PM (60 min.) \"William Banks is a recovering addict who struggles to maintain his own rocky personal life while he helps others get clean by any means necessary. William works with an eclectic group, and together they bring addicts of all kinds to the point where they are ready and willing to get help and begin the difficult process of getting clean. With every success and every failure, William must confront his own demons through his unusual relationship with God. He\'s a man caught between a deep love for his family, an unwavering commitment to his work, and the ghosts of his own addictions.\" I\'ll try it out once just to watch Bejamin Bratt. |

All the makeup and Photoshop in the world won't help you, bub. You might try some mouthwash for your brain. |

This show might be the most politically correct show I've ever seen. Has a white guy, black guy, latino guy and an asian chick. And a lame sounding story |

Damn... why didnt you post this sooner Oh well, this goes into the 'new tvshow' pile... Why is God so offensive? It's not even a main part of the show, it's more like he occasionally he talks to himself. I thought it was pretty damn good.. powerful ending |

Greetings I'll admit, this is not the best show out there. And, if it were not for Grace Park (playing a rich, slutty ex-Prom Queen) I would probably kick this one to the curb. But she is in it, so I'll keep watching it for as long as it is around (which will hopefully not be that long, so she can move on to other projects). Wierdly, as atheistic as I am, I did not mind his "unusual relationship with God". Because of his irreverence, it does not come off as Holier-than-thou. This show is not very preachy, rather it just tries to show the degredation that addiction causes. Which is commendable. But the McGuffin is weak. How many times can we see them grab an addict and whip them off to rehab? Too many times and it will become like Reaper, which only started getting really good when they relegated the soul-of-the-week-capture to the minor subplot and focussed on the demon revolution. The problem with "The Cleaner" is that I do not see an interesting story arc that could take focus. The possibilities are: His relationship with his family or him trying to take down a drug cartel. Another (unlikely) story arc could be his battle with a nemesis, a person that has "an unusual relationship with the devil" that drives people to addiction... but that is just a bit too "Tru Calling" Leap"... it's been done. So... here's hoping Grace will grace us with a little (screw that: make it a lot) of skin before the series is done.... I can live and dream, can't I? |

I was actually surprised by Grace Park's acting ability. She showed a bit of range here. I also thought the show was pretty good. Don't get me wrong, if it was the fall, it would be much further down on my watch list, but it isn't like my TiVO is running out of space often atm. And it is definitely better than some shows that make it past season 1. It is nice that there is a lot of options in the summer now, it used to be nothing but reruns on 3 channels. |
