No way! I have 26 MBit/s in the downstream but I never get full speed. So it takes me about 1 hour to download a 1,1 GByte episode using public torrent network. admin : sorry that is not fast. I sometimes get them in less than 5 min. But I have a 100/100 Mbit/s connection |

So, Dimension first releases a 1.1 GB download with frequent audio dropouts and the audio cut off at the very end of the episode, and now there's ANOTHER 1.1GB download available that's fixed? How hard can it be to rip audio PROPERLY? Dimension REALLY needs to get its FUCKING act together and stop wasting so much bandwidth. admin : nobody is holding a gun to your head to get it the moment it is out. If you do not have fast connections and no limits then wait and please be a little more polite. Thanks. |

You probably have your upload on 'unlimited', if you set that to 80% of maximum, you will get the fastest possible download speeds. Also make sure you are connectable, have the correct ports open, etc. |

"Get faster internet, it takes me 10 min to download the 720p version. " Oh yay, such an intelligent comment. Don't you think that we all would if it was available? Sorry but most people *don't* live in countries of cheap ultra fast unlimited data internet connections. So you're doing the equivalent of maxing out an ADSL2 connection! Well, good for you, but that is not the experience of most people, especially where I come from. 10 minutes for 1.1GB ... just not gonna happen here at present - an hour *AT LEAST* is the norm here, more likely 2 or 3 hours. ADSL2+ is the fastest residential internet connection available where I'm from, but *ALL* of them still have data limits, so it's not just raw speed we care about. As for spending thousands *per month* to get an unlimited business grade high speed connection ... no, sorry they don't do those for residential addresses anyway, same as they don't do the residential connections for businesses. Also, I ain't gonna spend heaps to move countries just to get a good connection either. and admin, sorry to say it but from where I sit you're living in a dream world if you think 100/100 is "normal". Yes it's definitely fast, no question about that, but it's also only available to a very few people relatively speaking. I suspect it will be years before we see that sort of residential connection widely available here is Australia - we can only dream of that sort of connection at present. (unless you are one of the miniscule number of people involved in an extremely limited trial) Personally I'm on a pretty good deal for Australian broadband internet: 10Mbit/256kbit cable, 36GB a month for ~$62. There are *NO* current new cable plans that can match it - even from my ISP. (my deal is several years old) There are some ADSL deals that can beat the data/price ratio, but I'm happy with what I've got at present, plus I don't want to mess around with changing my details everywhere I've registered on the net. All I ask is that all you people in the lands of amazingly fast internet connections stop being so condescending to those of us that don't have blindingly fast connections. Your connections are *NOT* the norm worldwide (yet) so please stop acting like they are and being so rude to those who don't have them. Times are changing and we are starting to see a couple of better deals - but it will be several *years* before we get anything like widely available 100/100 Mbit connections here. Now, as for waiting ... I generally do wait for at least several hours after something has been released before starting the download, so I have very few redownloads, but there are those who have similar data limits and still jump on it immediately, and then have to redownload. I must agree with admin here though - it's their own fault given their impatience and the known recent high proper rate. I think I'll stop there, I've gone too long again. admin: indeed you did and no I do not live in a dream world simply I do not live in Australia. No offense but from all the "whinging" must the the Internet third world. There are many countries in Europe that offer that kind of speed for dirt cheap. |

I really appreciate the post above me, I have many of the same feelings as well. I downloaded the first version as well and was left with my jaw dropped at the end because that last line was cut out. I understand this is free and everything, so I don't want to complain. I just wish there was some simpler resolution to the problem other than having to download the entire episode again to hear one line. It also takes me about 1 hour if I'm lucky, to download 1GB. I'm currently stuck in Italy and I was lucky to even get internet, they originally told us that there were too many people connected around here and not enough bandwidth! Luckily that wasn't the case. Thank you for the upload but I wish you could be more considerate to others. |

bburwood... put the mouse down and step away from the keyboard. I'm sorry that I'm fortunate enough to have 50mb/s download speed and you don't. I usually seed these torrent to a ratio of like 20 or 30 and I'm sure you just remove the torrent as soon as its finished downloading like a lot of people do with public trackers, this is why a lot of ppl get terrible download speeds from public trackers. All I was trying to say is, quit complaining, EZTV and all the public trackers spend money to provide us shows for free. If you can't appreciate that then gtfo. |

Sometimes, if you are lucky, on the REPACKs, you can point the new torrent to the old file, and only have to download the difference. Other times there's a alteration early in the file and all the offsets get changed to there's nothing similar. Doesn't hurt to try though. In this case if you just want to hear the last line the 350 MB version would do that for you. |
