First ep is really good, so far no super force powers like the other clone wars
cartoon, but not to say they aren't coming.

I am confused...

I am ssuming this is NOT the movie that was in theaters, but a continuation of that storyline?

The film in the cinema is intended to act as an introduction to the television
series. The series continues where the film ended.

Well, I guess I'd better see the film first, since I missed it in the cinemas.

droid with a sense of humor?
swing and a miss. unless your like 10

Droid (whining voice) "but i just got promotedahhh" *light saber swish*
and now i see why this is on cartoon network. why take good serious movies and
make a series for kids out of it
if it was a cartoon then that would be expected but this is 3D CGI

This is very easy.. They produce a series for the kids, so that keep the
fanbase in coming generations, a way to keep the franchise 'Star Wars' going.
if this is not a totalt failure, it could very well be one step closer to a
real movie but then that's just me thinking and hoping loud ^^

I do agree, it's a bit to childish to go down with me.

You guys act as if the original movies weren't made with kids in mind...

Quality for both eps 1 & 2 are overall very good files. no major - or even minor
- glitches in video or audio, far as i can tell.

and having STILL been unable to find a GOOD ENGLISH version of the movie on p2p,
i've not YET seen the movie. and was still able to follow and enjoy these eps so
far. so i guess seeing the movie is a BONUS, but not a pre-req!

and in the FYI category....

yeah, I'M OLD enough to have seen the FIRST film (that wud be the newly retitled
'Episode IV: A New Hope') in *1977*, so i echo the sentiments above. This has
ALWAYS been a kid's themed storyline, even if also pleasurable for adults. maybe
not a CHILD'S storyline, but for sure anyone around age 10 and above would have
then - and still now - enjoy the shows. ;-)

Though I'm not sure what time it airs in the USA... so maybe it's geared towards
the older kids demographic. But being a middle aged GAL, I still enjoyed it!

i absolutely love the tartakovsky series. the mace windu episode in the desert
has got to be one of the best scenes ever!

and if we're going to be doing FYI's...

(that wud be the newly retitled 'Episode IV: A New Hope')

it's been called that for at least 20 years, it's not new. i don't know where
people are getting this idea from.
