Why CTU doesn't do 5.1 sound is beyond me.

Anyone know where I can find the NBS release? I'd really like to have 5.1 audio.

Unless CTU's release has a problem and is nuked, there will not be an NBS
release. That's how the scene works.

Why am I not getting any sound? I have divx and xvid codecs. What codec does
this use?

The HR releases usually use AC3 audio instead of MP3, so chances are whatever
you use doesn't recognize AC3. Just get VLC though, it works fine with that.

I was looking at the Audio + Video but i was having problems with them.

So i downloaded the new (GSpot v2.60 RC01).
I already have the (AVIcodec v1.2.0.110)

The file 'Herores ep 01x11' looked like this with the 2 diffrent viewers

(GSpot)
Sound... (0x2000 (Dolby AC3) AC3 - 48000Hz 448 kb/s tot , 6 chnls (3/2 .1) ).
Video... (XviD 1.2 SMP - 1856kbps - 23.976fps - 960 x 528 A Ratio)

(AVIcodec)
Audio : 135 MB, 448 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, 0x2000 = AC3,
Supported
Video : 564 MB, 1863 Kbps, 23.976 fps, 960*528 (16:9),XVID=XVID Mpeg4,
Supported

Anybody got any iders ?
They both say the Audio is diffrent 1 says, 2ch and the other says, 5.1ch.
I have always used these 2 codec viewers but GSpot is a new program update.
So wich 1 is right. ???

All i was saying in my last post is the file Heroes 1x11 HR HDTV that i d/l
from here was that, when i look at it with a Codec Viewer like GSpot & AVIcodec.

They both say that the audio is different GSpot saying that it's AC3 5.1 and
the other AVIcodec says it't AC3 2ch.

In my last post i said which version they where so if you wanted to know what
versions they where than it says.

All i was saying they both can't be right. (can they.?)

So which 1's right anybody know.?

GSpot is right (it is 5.1), if you look at the AC3-filter properties while
playing the file you'll notice that all channels have input not only L and R.
