Not a spoiler. Just wanted to say this was another great episode. And to let
people know about the BSG podcast. Check it out, it's amazing. Just listened to
the roundtable and wow... love this show. Love how they give a darn about the
fans.

First episode written by Jane Espenson. Hope there'll be more, because she's a
great writer.

She's got a very high-volume blog at janeespenson.com

gee is very nice from SciFi to let us know that the lost room is premiering on
monday.... but blending it on screen during the whole episode? Wonder if that
was on purpose or some tech fell asleep on the mixer...

nice ep anyway.

The sound has a lot of static. Amazing episode though.
It's been a long time since I "felt" a space sequence,
probably since Empire Strikes Back. Back to front this
was brilliant. The writing, the characterization, the
effects, musical background, synthesis with previous
episodes both plot and character development-wise, the
balance of spreading the story out amongst so many actors,
almost the way Deadwood used to do. And finally some use
of nuance. That took a brave director to get the actors
to be subtle. Take the Col. Tye sequence, or the final scene
for instance. I agree, that was a great job!
