Nice nfo from XII: -- Dollhouse.S02E02.HDTV.XviD-XII Release date : 10/04/2009 Release notes: 2hd are big faggot whiners use a good player -- Anyway, can someone confirm this plays correctly? Or should we just assume XII have zero skills and this release will get nuked for the same reason as the rest of their releases. Dear XII: you suck. |

They suck. Their releases only play on about 50% of players. And they are unwilling to improve their methods. |

Of course it works on the PC but that's not the issue here! We are talking about standalone player or 360/ps3 media servers connected to our TVs. And these episodes do not work on the 360/PS3 unless you fix the file with VDM and such. So again, we know it works on the PC!! But not everyone uses the PC to watch episodes, we use our media servers and such and watch it on our HDtv's and etc. The XII episodes do not work on the 2 media servers I have. |

herschelaz... as pot wrote before you, the XII files are encoded with a variable bit rate which screws up the way the 360 plays it and so it only plays it for a minute or so. Last week I cut n pasted the following from a post on last weeks episode which only takes a few minutes to do and then the 360 will play it fine: Install Lame ACM encoder first (see below posts) open file in VDMod click "no" to the variable bitrate warning. click on streams > stream lists. right click on the audio track and select full processing mode. right click on the audio track and then compression. click on Lame mp3 (or other mp3 encoder) and select 128kbps CBR and then ok. click on demux and give the new audio a name and the extension .mp3 wait for it to finish encoding. click on streams > stream lists click on the original audio stream and click on disable click add and add your new audio to the list. right click on both audio streams and make sure they are set to direct stream copy and then ok. Go to file > save as give your new video a name and select "direct stream copy" as the video mode in the video section. that's it, should result in a file roughly the same size as the original. Sounds complicated but isn't, give it a go. good luck This has worked for me and I can then watch them on my big hdtv properly. |

Thanx for the upload I love the show but release was very disappointing and quite frankly a waste of my time and bandwidth. I used or should I try patiently tied to use the following players - Windows media player BS player VLC player DivX player all updated to latest yet the best i could get was a few seconds of movie, freeze, jump, a few seconds of movie, freeze then jump a few seconds of movie etc etc etc all the way through, I turned it of and gave up each time once it froze on each player 30 times. Sorry, but if this is the best this group can offer, stay away from a respectable site like EZTV |
