According to wikipedia theres 7 seasons. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_MythBusters_episodes#Season_7_.E2.80.93_2009  I guess thetvdb are just wrong. http://thetvdb.com/?tab=season&seriesid=73388&seasonid=41536 |

when it aired on american TV, they skipped a season - they aired one episode, then stopped. they started up again with an "all new season" - which was the one they'd already aired one ep of, and continued. |
