I think NBC is going to find that many of it's procedurals that used to air at 10PM are not well-suited for the 9PM slot and would all be considered "too dark". However, NBC does have the Sunday 10PM slot open (the only non-Leno opening) where it could air Southland. Then again with Leno's decaying ratings, it may not be long before dramas return to late night. |

I didn't really care for the show, seemed like it wanted to be COPS with a script(or more of one). But come on... "too dark"? Really? Not only is it inaccurate, even if it were since when is that a reason to cancel a show? And to do so mid production run on a second season... That's just plain being an asshole. NBC is making Fox look great at this point, it's impossible to imagine more ass backwards decisions one after another than they've made over the past few years. |

it was kinda like "cops" with a script.. but a good script.. liked the show a lot.. dont watch any other cop shows and its a shame how they just throw away a show like this |

This really gets my blood boiling when I read stuff like this! I was so looking forward to the second season and now this! What's wrong with NBC! Don't they know when they have something good. I really liked this show. It's the only cop show I stay home to watch. |
