V original - 1983 Earth FC - 1997 V remake 2009 Release date has nothing to do with it. The point people are making is that it is it seems to be merely copying other shows/movies and using the name of a very successful and popular show. It is not really a remake of V it's more of a remake of V, EFC, ID4, Anti Terrorist Cop Show and whatever else they have installed for us. Spotted this at IMDB "The first 14 minutes had me thinking this was going to be great... and then the commercial break came and when the show returned it was three weeks along in the plot line, there was some terrorist investigation going on and a string of clues that had been followed with zero explanation. In short, the show was edited like it was supposed to be a two or three part intro/mini-series and then butchered to fit into a 44 minute time slot. The result is a disjointed mess that only looks like it will soon be canceled. Very disappointing... I think if it had landed on another network, the makers would have had more freedom to make something along the lines of the original mini-series, which back then was akin to a TV event rather than the hurried mess the folks at Disney gave us last night." Oh yeah did anybody else notice that when Morris Chestnuts character revealed he was a V is was his left arm that got ripped open but when he got back the wife/girlfriends house he was nursing his right arm. |

Hey meng! Thanks for the up! This show, however, sucks! It is one of the worse show I've seen in a long while. It has hit every cliche possible. I don't understand how s*** like this gets made! |

I agree with most of the members Of " V 2009 " My beaf is with the length 42 mins, It is my understanding that the first episode / Pilot is customary 90mins, No wonder,a lot of the plotting for this new update seemed Glib, Lets hope they make it up with future episodes ......... |

i LIKE character development, so introducing the chars as many and varied early on gives peeps like me a chance to find one to settle on and follow the personal growth of the character. one of the reasons i loved DG was the intense focus on the characters, the people, of the show. just one of those things different people like or dislike. |
