Quick question hoping that someone has come across this before. I\'ve been downloading stuff for years (standard def 350MB) but recently I got my TivX and can now enjoy all HD 720p/1080p stuff - movies, whatever. What I\'ve found though is that although my TivX supports every codec known to man, the sound on any of these 720p files is non existant. I\'ve perfect picture, but no sound? (I\'m using a HDMI just in case anyone asks, I\'ve even configured for Optical and tried that, but got the same results - just a load of \'white noise\' instead of audio.) I can play all HD formats (movies etc. no problem - but all EZTV HD rips of TV shows at 720p ain\'t working? Anyone come across this before? Thanks. |

Hi sCifI3001, I've no idea what "eztv caps no shows" is supposed to mean - but maybe I wasn't very clear myself - I meant to say that any 720p files I download from this website - be it 'NoTV', 'CTU' or whoever - as long as I download any 720p file - I've got perfect picture, but a load of white noise for sound. Doesn't seem to matter whether I try standard HDMI, Toslink Optical or Digital Coax, I still get the same result - no sound. Apologies if this issue has already been covered in the FAQ, but I search that thing for like 45 minutes the other night and found nothing relating to this problem? Thanks, Comfortably Numb. |

you refered to "but all EZTV HD rips of TV shows at 720p ain't working? " eztv does not create the shows, it only distributes them, the groups you mentioned do the "capping" or "capturing" of the aired shows, as i said, a quick answer... but not nescessarily about your main problem |
