Actually, SOME people value filesize over quality. Plus, ancient DVD players can't play the 720p releases --- I've never seen xvid release rules, but I can imagine that using features an average (xvid-capable) player doesn't support is forbidden. Of course, if it were up to me, I would have eztv drop all the xvid/avi and instead pickup the 720p from the shows they currently don't cover in 720p. I does take a while to find stuff that eztv doesn't cover... |

I don't know, i find they skip a lot. and i don't find the quality is good enough to justify a gig instead of like 350 meg. but i have unlimited bandwidth so i wouldn't care if they would just play right. |
