Early release? Edit: If FlashForward’s ratings drop this Thursday, blame the Aussies! "Get out your bingo cards! I’m not sure if there is a square on any of the cards that reads “everyone already watched it via Torrent download or illegal streaming sites,” but if there isn’t, there will be in future generations of the cards. James Hibberd reports that with our Thanksgiving holiday the Australians got an episode ahead (and presumably will remain so at least for another couple of weeks) and have unleashed it into the wild via Torrent downloads and other illegal streaming sites. The worlds gone topsy turvey, it's from Australain Channel7 HD. How the ???? oO We get it before the usual places? I smell something funny... ^^ Ahhh hehe good ol' turkeyday. gobblegobble.. I really dig at the very end of the credits on flashforward the copyright statement which states: "Warning: This is copyrighted material and duplication, exhibition, or distribution, including UPLOADING TO THE INTERNET may result in legal penalties." Just never noticed they include that these days..  |

That's redonkulous. Aussies getting it first won't create a bomb in the US, anymore than the US having it first will create a bomb in any other country. Stupid, not-at-all-thought-out theory! And there's nothing 'funny' to be smelt here. American networks took a week off airing their primetime shows because of Thanksgiving - a holiday only America recognizes - so the rest of the world (Australia and Europe in particular) continued airing the tenth episode as scheduled. It won't mean anything after this episode anyway; the mid-season hiatus kicks in after this one, so no other country will be in front of America again when the show is picked up again next year. (That's if it IS picked up again next year - who know? Maybe FF's ratings will drop on Thursday, in which case we should storm the Aussie consulate.) |

Really if ABC didn't want other countries to air it first I'm sure they would have the legal right to stop them. I love the fact on this rare occasion we got to see it first on TV here. |

This is hilarious How dare another country see OUR show first. I bet the disgruntled US viewers are thinking that. LOL I wondered when the local Aussie station advertised the season finale of FlashForward when TV.com said the episode wasn't due to air until next week in the USA. Is the world supposed to stop when the US has a holiday? No way. How arrogant of you. Now you Americans know how it feels to live in another country. Most shows are at most a season behind and these days many are only a few days behind US airing. Some good shows never even make it to on air here. There is little wonder we come to places like EZTV to be up to date. Stop whinging and be thankful for what you've got including this excellent site, a fine public service in my opinion. Left to their own devices, the networks and advertisers will drip feed us what they want, when they want. |

Glad to see it regardlesss...but not too happy with the content and directions the show is going...I think Ratings will drop because the show is turning into a BLOODY soap opera. The story lines are poor and boring. I find I fast forward to the "good" parts. The writers need to connect with the fans to find out what they want...and a chick flick style of writing is not it... IF it doesn't get better I will wait for the final episode and see what the end result is. |

the show seems to have lost some of its passion and excitement that made it a must see for the first few episodes.. lets hope that the break gives them a chance to really write up a storm of surprises for the next ep, and that it becomes less predictable from now on.. the great point of this show is that you are unsure who was important to the story, and who was just filler.. now the roles are being laid out clearly it seems a bit too simple and more like StraightForward instead of FlashForward.. great concept, and all that, but the writing is letting it down.. |

Lol. Yup us backwater aussies got a US show BEFORE the yanks for once! It won't be ahead in future though as the show is now on a break till 2010 and I am guessing that we will be back to a week behind after the new year. It was the first time I actually watched this show on channel 7... man the add breaks suck... May as well download it i guess just cause otherwise I will have a hole in my digital copies. Gratifyng to see the 7 logo in the corner of a d/lded show for once though! And I bet this week rated better than the last few just because half of the viewers have probably been doing same as me and getting it from the net 5 days early and add free! I say again... Lol |

This show is really twisted (in a good way so far) . Every time I think ..okay now this is good again ..then something happens that takes us back. there are only 2 things left we dont know but can guess.. 1. Demetri Noh, Will he really die by his partners hand?? 2. Dr. Olivia Benford, will she cheat on Mark in the 11 episode or the 12 (that is of course if he's released by then)?? and here are my answers: 1. I think yes, Mark will shoot Demetri. 2. I think that she will cheat on him in episode 12 (he gets fired in ep 11 fights with his wife about it, then she turns to Lloyd Simcoe). Tell me what is A wife that leaves her husband that didnt drink for 7 years for their sake and then makes few mistakes because hes really confused at that moment... and the man she leaves him for is probably respondible for killing 20 MILLION human beings... This is what makes this show really interesting . Its like: You can change the future yet you cant. |
