| So can I assume this XII version will not be compatible with the Xbox 360 and Windows Media Center? | |||||

I loath XII releases why can't they just encode their stuff in a standard codec like every one else instead of some BS format that can only be played in VLC? I hate wasting good CPU cycles re-encoding something that should have been done right the first time around! |

I have no idea why you all are bitching and moaning about the codec they use, when you can find them for free on the internet. Better yet install zoom player, it comes with its own built in codec installer/updater, once used your media center player or windows media player should work fine. Or better yet buy the actually episodes from the xbox store and stop complaining. |

Wow, this series is getting better every episode. This is how the first season should have been. Lots of stuff makes sense now...the Attic, Caroline, Echo...all pieces are fitting together. I hope it doesn't get axed as they are saying. |

Hell ... it's a Joss Whedon show ... it simply has to be axed prematurely. |

Well all I can say is that if the entire series had been written in this form I think that we would have season 3-4 and maybe 5. Unfortunately for us it was not even close to being written in the same way as these last few episodes. Having an arc to the story line definitely has put a fire under the writers to close up all the story lines. At least we can be thankfull to Fox for still continuing on and letting Josh finish off the series of 13 Ep. |

I highly doubt that ... IMO Season 1 had some good episodes and with a show like that, you'll need balance between "normal" episodes (even funny ones, too) that are all about engagements and high-tension ones that carry the story arcs (like the ones we see right now). Supernatural is a good example of how this can work out fine. Season 1 did have that balance and should have gotten the benefit of a new show. Instead, the network prematurely tried to take away Whedon's original plan or momentum and tried to turn Dollhouse into some mainstream show whose single procedural episodes leave just one question in the end: who will be f***ing Echo next week? If I want that, I watch Grey's Anatomy. Unfortunately, the Dollhouse concept simply doesn't fit the mainstream and thus should have been released on cable instead - just like e.g. Dexter. |
