It's an awesome movie!! Josh did a great job with it. Also my band is in the soundtrack and referred to as 'Apple Curry' in the film. So if you like the tunes, feel free to check my band out. We're called The Assembly Line. Keep spreading the love! Thor. |

Great movie. The acting was superb, so much so that at times, especially in the beginning, I wondered if it was a documentary. |

I'm only 10mins in watching this and already its starting to be really annoying I don't mean any offence to anyone but if I hear another "totally awesome", "like totally" or "whatever" I`ll go nuts. The word awesome is overused and never in context. The Universe or a sunrise is awesome. Looking at a search engine is not awesome. The way a bower-bird builds its bower is awesome. A job title is not awesome. I'm so glad I like totally don't like speak that way because I would like totally like want to just like throw myself into a river. Anyway whatever, I`ll like totally carry on watching this for like as long as I can and like see if like I can hold on to the end. Anyway, respect to the people who made it, regardless, because at least they got off their arse and did something that got noticed. Good luck for the future. |

I didn't miss any point. The purpose of my post wasn't to quote the point of the movie (of which I'm sure opinion will be divided on what that is). Just pointing out how some minor annoyances of some US bastardisation of the English language. If you think the movie was 'awesome' then you are easily pleased but then why doesn't that surprise me. |

Average viewing experience. And I say that because, while I love Indies in all shapes and sizes, I could not help my self but feel disappointed with all the Apple product placement; I mean a little is fine, but this film dedicated a great deal of its stock footage to people listening to music on their iPods. Now, I can see how this can be viewed integral to the grand scheme of the film, depending on one's interpretation of course, but I think they could have really done without it, as I feel it really deviates from what Indies are all about. If you have any response, I would like to hear from you! A-Alian@hotmail.com |

The English language has degraded to the point that adults are talking in the 3rd or 4th grade education level. Let's go back to the King James language, move up to the language of America's Forefathers and compare it to today's English level. The language is progressing backwards, not forward. At this rate, the language we know today would continue to progress to the very beginning when the English language was created in it's first year. So who's fault is this? While I do not lean entirely on the school children for not paying attention in the English classes, I also blame the educators for failing our children as well. Not only that, children today frown upon education as a whole. They see it as meaningless. They have been replaced by fads instead. Such as music and fashion (rap music and wearing your pants low while showing the underwear. Oh btw, did you know this low pants fashion first started in prison? If you wear it low, it means you're somebody's bitch and it's not from the opposite sex, if you catch my drift). Today's generation has become pathetic & lazy (there's no value in hard work and they don't see it). The percentages of graduates in both HS and College is at a all time low. (Hint: Google it) Kids today that go to work, but don't want to work. They just want the money. Family value isn't what used to be. Certainly not the Beaver Cleaver generation. The young generation view babies as something you can pitch into the trash can. Ok, I'm done. /soap box off |
