I'm just wondering why a lot of times the Colbert Report show is released before the Daily Show since the Daily Show airs before Colbert and usually it's the same group upping both shows. Anybody know why? And where's the Daily Show!?! |

Could be many things. Perhaps the capper is delayed due to bandwith issues. Or maybe he needs time to fix and get the release ready for the public. It could also be priorities. Say if they can only release one show at a given timedue to either seeders or cappers. Maybe they choose colbert sometimes, and daily show another time. I'm sure it will come. |

They shouldn't respect anything. What they do is; comment on thing that doesn't make sense. The fact that you don't like that they don't respect The Roman Catholic Church, which has had a few problems with priest "dipping into the alterboys", which doesn't make sense by the way, is your "problem". Then you go on to comment on the fact that Jon Stewart is a jew, now this is where it gets funny. You were just talking about repect. My self, I'm an agnoctic, therefore I simply don't care about peoples beliefs, it doesn't matter, unless you try and force your beliefs on me, that's gonna piss me off, because that implies your beliefs is better than mine, and then we're back in the darkages. I've seen a lot of The Daily Show and not once has he said anything about jews being better or anything like that. I'll give you, That some jews, a lot of them, might have a superior attitude. But that's their problem, this hole thing with my religion is better than yours, is more like my dad can beat up your dad. Have a peachy day, the world is slowly going to turn no matter what we do. |

heh, the colbert report is super liberal too... it's just hidden under a veil of poking fun at the o'reily factor. It can be a bit hard to see thru colbert's act sometimes because he's damn good at acting the 'conservative egotistic prick' role, but he's quite liberal.* Ever see his white house press conferance dinner? mininova.org/tor/300763 He gets a bit more blatant during this dinner about what his real views are... right infront of the president. Albiet he's still in character... it's just easier to see he's making fun of his character than it is on the show. *Or rather, he's anti-trithiness. Politics & media are made to sound relatively truthful to those who don't know all the facts involved, they're not designed to promote the policy which will do the most good. This is what both the daily show & the colbert report are designed to make fun of. Both parties have their shortcomings on sounding truthful while advocating policies which are not in our best interest... but the republicans are the ones who invented the art of doing that in politics, and they're the best at it(read up on conservative think tanks & framing, the democrats dont have a good idea of how to do this stuff yet). So the daily show & colbert report have a liberal slant in that they're opposed to BS like that. Colbert just shows he's opposed to it by having his o'reily alike character agree with it in a way which really doesnt show it in a good light. |
