And yet Fox still probably hasn't learned their lesson. They got their chef's out of the kitchen for the second season, but it was too little too late, the damage was already done. On a technical note, this rip was cut off a little too soon on the end. I know it's nothing major, but for the last episode of the series it would be good to have at least a fade to black, if not the closing credits. |

Think he was referring to "Dollhouse s01e13 Epitaph One Unaired DVDRip avi", which was first released about 6-7 months ago, and which can be found on other torrent aggregate sites. |

Agreed, it was a bit jarring. If anyone knows of another 720p copy floating around somewhere with better editing, please do tell. |

I haven't downloaded this, but in the fox broadcast, there was no fade to black, it cut immediately from Echo beginning to lay down into her sleeping pod, to the Mutent Enemy logo. Grr Arggh, if that's what you see in this rip, then you won't find anything better. Jarring yes, but i'm guessing it was intentional, maybe as a statement, as in thats it, done, i guess i'll have to listen to the commentary when it comes out on DVD. As for epitaph one, there is a season 1 (torrent titled: Dollhouse - Season 1 , available (try tpb) that has it. Its definately worth watching. It also has the unaired pilot (the one Fox made them completely redo. Dollhouse may have gotten off to a slow start, (no thanks to fox lol) but damn, those last 6-7 episodes were a thrill ride. Its amazing what condensing the story arc / plot points of what should have been season's 3, 4 and 5 in to a handful of episodes. the only thing right fox did in respect to Dollhouse was give Joss Whedon enough notice of the cancellation to give the series a decent conclusion. |

Well that would be something Joss Whedon would do, but we don't even see the M/E logo, so it makes it seem like the rip itself is cut off. Also, yes condensing the story can lead to a thrill ride, but so can letting Joss tell his own full story. After the first season fiasco, he had to pick up the pieces and start reassembling them before he could even begin to get the ball rolling properly again. Then the show gets cancelled through no fault of his own, leaving Joss not enough time to win back the audiences Fox lost in the first place. |
