MKV is just far better in quality, although it does not play (yet) on most USB accpeted devices. I use MKV for viewin git on the CPU and AVI for looking it on screen. Excellent episode this. |

there is a PROPER from DIMENSION. reason: IIMERSE video is undersized. Once you strip away their junk padding they are only 1490.69mb, below the limit of 1491. They have video glitches from start to finish. I gave up counting somehwere in the 20s. |

Just watched. Will probably go back and download the PROPER from Immersion because they were flawless last week. This video has 30+ glitches. Normally I wouldn't care, but we all know we download the 720p for the quality it has over the SD rip. |

x264 = mkv container. It's an avi inside that. mkv are great for HD content, but a lot of devices have issues with mkv. The ps3 requires either a program transcoding on the fly, or you to use something like mkv2vob which takes seconds, to dump out to mpeg, avi, whatever. As long as the release is labeled x264 you can expect mkv, and avoid them Thnx for the warning, grabbing the propper. Was the SD NoTV release glitched aswell? |

Sorry, but no. .MKV is the container, and so is .AVI, H/x264 and DivX/XviD are the codecs within. |
