Last week I download both Losts. The normal one and the 720p one. I put them both on my PS3 which is plugged into my 47 LCD, 120 hz, 1080p tv, using an hdmi cable and I could see any difference between the 2. The normal one looks great on that tv. You can see so much detail in peoples faces. Download both and do a comparison. |

I'm sorry I wasn't clear... I meant the DIMENSION version, I've gotten great stuff from them - although sometimes there's a few glitches (Which is definitely fine, kudos for all the work they do and they usually pump out the first x264 version) I was just wondering if anyone had watched this 720p version all the way thru. I run a HTPC with a lot of graphics power to a 1080p TV and I can definitely tell the difference between XviD and x264... It could just be placebo, who knows =) |

Any group who releases a CTV broadcast rip (from Canada) will be blurry. Download the web-dl 720p's (currently the next best thing to blu-ray). |

Does anyone have a link for a non CTV ripped HD version of this episode? Could you please PM me if you do... Thanks! I really don't want to have to download this one, it ruins the viewing.. And yes.. I know it's free and I should be happy with what there is but the fact is that better versions exist! |

there woiuld be plenty out there, but you will just have to do some searching, as well as find out the source before you d/l, and, also, they will not be scene releases, because there can be only one |

I have problems with MKV audio , The Video is fine with all HD definitions , but the audio is a different ball game . Has anyone head of Vorbis codec , my DivX Pro 7 cannot play this codec , VLC can. When I was downloading BSG in MKV with AC3 it sounded great through my AV system , but the standard MKV, no luck with the audio ( Vorbis )..... So anybody else have the same issue with Matroska Video ?????? |

@ atwozed I never watch any HD rips as MKV files.. it causes a few problems on my system, and I usually watch them through my PS3 anyway Download MKV2VOB and follow the instructions.. it repacks the video from an MKV container into an AVI one.. which plays better on most systems |

I had the same problem, until i realised that the audio for mkv files was being handled by the AC3 codec whereas the audio for avi's arent. I went into the AC3 settings and turned the volume up and it fixed it. |

Converting MKV DTS to AC3 can be troublesome. You extract the audio from MKV with an app, convert DTS to AC3 with another app, and add the new AC3 audio to the MKV files with a third one. http://www.pavtube.com/guide/convert-mkv-dts-to-ac3.html |
