S01E05 aired on March 25, but it seems to have been missed by the scene. Three couples are featured: - The first pair seeking arbitration is Kris and Erin, a New York couple that’s been married for three years. Their dilemma centers around the fact that Kris has an alter ego named Krispy, a cheesy white middle-aged rapper. Kris wants to try to be a rap star and naturally Erin realizes he has absolutely no chance of ever succeeding. - The next couple looking for help from The Marriage Ref is Jimmy and Susan in Kissimmee, Florida. Jimmy keeps his motorcycle in the middle of the living room, but Susan wants him to move it. But wait…there’s more trouble in paradise for Jimmy and Susan. He’s obsessed with Mariah Carey and actually refers to her as a drug. Susan thinks Mariah is a no-good hussy and considers her the other woman in their marriage. - Maria and Jim are the final couple rehashing their marital disputes on The Marriage Ref. Their dilemma? Their dog, Zeus, a little white furball with the temperament of Cujo. Jim is obsessed with Zeus. Maria hates the demon-possessed dog which constantly tries to bite her. |
