globaltv.com Global is showing Glee at 9pm on Tuesdays so something had to move. NCIS LA moved to Mondays at 10pm. It's common place in Canada for what's called simulcast subsitution or "simsub". Canadian networks do this on the most popular shows so that even if you tune the American channel (in Canada) you get the Canadian commercials. Since Global and CTV purchase more shows then they can air and often two shows that should air at the same time, they often choose one to simulcast and one to air early or in some situations LATE. This is why some shows air in Canada early and therefore get released early. Another recent example is Brothers and Sisters airing at 10pm on Fridays because Global also airs "The Apprentice" which is 2 hrs on Sunday and thus interferes with Brothers and Sisters. It's also why LOST up untill last week was airing at 7pm. CTV has Idol, Idol was running 2 hours from 8 to 10pm and therefore CTV couldn't simsub Lost so they aired it early. Obviously they can't air Idol early because it's live plus it draws bigger ratings. It's really why alot of things hit early, And for the record, when has EZTV posted fakes. If it's on here, it's obviously the real deal. |
