It is a remake, and they acknowledge the fact. |

The good thing about this series is their don't speak with a New Zealand accent, and the acting isn't wooden. Thinks for the idea now let the professionals take over. |

| I agree with Nalex. The show is pretty decent with some solid actors. NZ accents are ridiculous anyways. | |||||

Did anyone notice the senile grandfather, the one who loves macaroni and CHEESE (he even emphasizes this word in his lines), is the same actor who is the mysterious CHEESE guy in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV show? This has got to be an inside joke. Too much of a coincidence for it not to be. I didn't understand the original cheese reference in Buffy though. If anyone can enlighten, that would be good. |

in interviews and the like after Restless aired Joss Whedon (the creator of the show and writer of the episode) said that the cheese guy meant nothing and was just one of those weird things that happen in dreams. “The cheese man means nothing. He is the only thing in the show that means nothing.” - Joss Whedon |
