from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Glades_%28TV_series%29

The Glades is an A&E Network drama television series starring Matt Passmore. The one-hour drama
premiered on Sunday, July 11, 2010.[1] The show\'s premise involves a Chicago detective taking a
South Florida job with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement which he believes will afford a
more relaxing lifestyle, but finds things are more complicated than he imagined. The series was
originally titled \"Sugarloaf\". [2] It is filmed in a former carpet warehouse in Pembroke Park,
Florida, making it the second current series, after Burn Notice, to be filmed exclusively in the
state.[3] [4].

"The Glades", a character driven police procedural set in the fictional town of Palm Glade, Florida,
stars Australian actor Matt Passmore ("McLeod's Daughters," Underbelly", Kiele Sanchez ("Lost,
"Samantha Who?" and Carlos Gomez ("Shark, "Sleeper Cell". In "The Glades", Passmore stars as Jim
Longworth, an attractive, brilliant, yet hard to get along with homicide detective from Chicago who
after being wrongfully accused of sleeping with his former Captain's wife is forced into exile.
Longworth relocates to the sleepy, middle of nowhere town of Palm Glade, Florida, where the sunshine
and golf are plentiful and crime is seemingly at a minimum. Yet life in this sleepy town is not as
beautiful as it may seem

At first I thought the show was about the air freshener. But then I looked up the show and see that its a carbon copy of
another great show...Justified. Which leads me to ask...when is the Burn Notice wannabe coming out?

One "sound dropout" looks to be a foul language cut, like I see on Breaking Bad, which leads me to ask:

Why make a show with these words and show it on A&E yet cut them out?

sort of, but whereas Raylan was sent "home", this guy is from Chicago and got a job in Florida. Plus
this guy is sort of a comedian.

It seems like it could be a decent show, if they can get some better supporting actors in there.
Drew Carey's brother is not my cup of tea at all.

As for the main character, I am still unsure if I will like him or if he is actually quite annoying.

Reminded me a lot of The Mentalist... right down to Australian lead actor.... only not as good and
not getting a second chance in my book.
