Information This series follows a dramatic expedition searching for tigers hidden in the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan. With tigers heading for extinction, an international team of big-cat experts and wildlife film-makers is given unique access to the jungles and mountains of Bhutan for what could be the last chance to save this magnificent animal. Part 1: Explorer Steve Backshall hunts for tigers through the dense forest undergrowth supported by Justine Evans, who is atop a tree with her hidden camera. Another member of the expedition - wildlife cameraman Gordon Buchanan - tracks the majestic beasts high in the Himalayas. The scientists on the expedition investigate ways of protecting the tigers in the future. |
