eztv, I've always been a fan of your uploads. However, the last 2 episodes of House are not good uploads. =( It can't be my VLC because the Castle eps I download are fine... Thank you. |

I can confirm that the uploads are fine. I've had no problem whatsoever playing those episodes both in VLC and on my TViX.
This doesn't mean anything. There are many reasons why certain files won't play correctly and VLC itself is almost never to blame. The fact that VLC works doesn't mean everything else does. Anyway, the important point is that the House eps are fine. Other users shouldn't be afraid to download them. |

@almightyme: Make sure you are using at least VLC v1.1.4 or newer, anything older will have issues because x264 releases these days are using newer encoding options in x264 that older VLC versions won't be able to understand how to handle them. I ran into this issue on the last two x264 releases of 24's last season (I was using VLC 0.8.6f) and promptly grabbed the latest version of VLC and that solved it. You can even download VLC releases that are zipped instead of executable installers of which can be just unzipped (decompressed) into its own directory and run that vlc.exe without having to install it in case you just want to test and not have to deal with the installer: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html I assume you are using Windows, there are other OS selections for Mac OS X and Linux too. |
