Episode was pretty lame. From opening monologue to end credits, the laughs were minimal at most. Emma Stone isn't really all that funny. Do I respect her work (so far)? Sure. But considering most SNL skits are very hit or miss, the writing they did for her was a pretty dynamic miss. I will say that the Brett Favre - Open Fly Jeans commercial was great, and Keenan as the "Rent is too damn high" party guy was great as well. Kings of Leon were acceptable for the musical guest. But overall, compared to to the 1st three eps this season this was a dud. Save your time. |
