We (should >---> would love to to be able to hope to get) Atlantis/SG1 back. Although RDA is too
old, and the rest have moved on.. I personally watch Sanctuary for my weekly fix of Miss Tapp'n ;_)
She looks good with dark hair, but not near as good as she did in the late nineties.

Anyway, scifi3001 -- I definitely would rather have SG-1, but having that back would mean an
entirely new cast. Which was basically SGA. New actors(and returning actors for a time) and a new
environment (Atlantis not C. Mountain) -- SGA could actually come back, there is a small chance
(give me a break i'm running on blind hope) that it could return, but there will never be a new
season of SG-1.

What's the news on SG: Extinction anyway? Any links folks? Could not find any myself.

Har har... Well... He's right to a an extent. Little less character development. I enjoyed the character
development of both SG1 and SGA, but it happened on a season-by-season (or mid-season by mid-season)
basis, not a episode-by-episode basis like SG:U. I hate how focused these writers are on character
development. This is StarGate: UNIVERSE, not StarGate: The Days of our Lives: On Divinity

Less Character Development, more alien discoveries, whether it be new/returning species, structures
referring to or built by new/returning species (can anyone say FURLING!? I would even love to see
them encounter some Nox or Asgard technology/life forms/structures/SOMETHING)

I just want SGU to focus more on the previous two series which they originated. In every episode the
only thing that really connects SGU (other than the StarGate) to the previous Series are the RARE
appearances of previous actors and the fact that the Divinity is of Ancient creation. SG:A even
focused a TON more on the mythology created in SG-1. Why can't SGU do this? I am on the last episode
of the first season and WOW, Lucian Alliance. Who. F-cking. Cares. They made little to no impact on
my obsession with StarGate. The Four Great Races need to become a part of the show and it seems like
the fact that Earthlings (INCLUDING THOSE ON BOARD DIVINITY) are now considered the Fifth Great
Race. I know no one from SG production is reading this, but if they ever did; I am sure many will
agree with me that we need to see more reference to SG-1 and even SG:A. Primarily SG-1 which was the
basis in which this Mythology was created.

For those less informed:

The amazing aliens that were the fit the thought when you think of "alien lifeform" of science
fiction since the early 1900s - And they were awesome too. I miss Thor. MORTHOR!

The ones that no one knew much about and we still have not even been graced with a clear shot of
what they really (potentially "did" look like (but that definitely had to be cute and furry -- RDA
said it, and that means it is fact! )

Another of my personal favorites, the Nox -- How did they come to be one of the great races? I want
to know. They are so secluded and live in the woods until BAM you see they have a city the size of
earth on top of their planet. I want to venture into that city... And if I have to, I guess i'll
watch Rush and Colonel Young be the one to venture.. And the sex-addict Scott who I like but they
try too hard on his character development.

This definitely intrigued me and was used in both SG1 and SGA... Why not SGU? I'll tell you why..

I still like the show. I just hate the 90% emphasis on character development. Does ANYONE agree

yeah your right about it being more of a soap opera, it is a tv show, character based shows are the
norm these days man look at the crap on at least this has other stuff going on like an alien here
and there, a cool starship, Grier with any chance he can get to be angry or kill stuff, oh and the
stargates of coarse!

we need more "off world" or "off ship" action, more space battles and please hurry up and find some
alien space weapons, plot holes are no big deal but surely they are running out of ammo by now.

this show will get really good in another season or so, i say just let the writers just play out
this character trip, considering it is the same guys that made the other stargate shows, who knows
what they have planned.

every season is set in a new universe, that is the most interesting concept for a show since mulder
and scully started digging around in the f.b.i x-files.
