ITV - The Santa Files (2010)

Information
The Santa Files with John Sergeant
John Sergeant dons a beard and goes to Santa School as he investigates the story of Saint Nicholas
for a special Christmas Eve ITV1 documentary.
Santa Claus is the undisputed King of Christmas and no-one can compete with the jovial,
white-bearded figure dressed in red, for international recognition. But what is most remarkable, is
that he got here at all. This Christmas, John Sergeant investigates the greatest story never told –
the story of Santa Claus. Beginning with an obscure bishop from Turkey, John uncovers how he
gradually became the Father Christmas we know and love. The story of Santa includes Christian
relics, myths, reindeer, chimneys and chocolate coins. John’s journey takes him to New York, Turkey,
Copenhagen, Scotland and around the UK to uncover the real story behind Santa and what he means to
us today.

You can't prove a negative, therefore Santa can exist.

Merry Christmas and happy New Year!
