Entertaining, but HARDLY science. These people are UFOists. Just like religious people, but instead of saying "I don't know, it was God", they say "I don't know, must have been aliens." Hardly likely. And they really have some facts mixed. But it is fun. |

The foundation of belief of what the age of earth events builds up everything after it (the map). If you believe the ice age could only have happened millions of years ago, then you will be boggled at how this so called map could have existed. There have been books written on a collegiate level on the Biblical flood and the possibilities of what could actually have been going on. Note that it says not just water from the sky, but also water came forth terrestrially; earthquakes could have ensued, large volumes of water displacing everything; the atmosphere may have been affected too, so that which we can observe, test, record, etc today, is NOT what could have been happening all the time, messing up said measurements. The analogy has been said it is like someone walking into a movie theater in the middle of a show that previously had been edited to show something completely different, and that person assuming what they are seeing NOW is as it has always been; not taking in the possibility that something caused a change in the film prior to their arrival (this they are willingly ignorant of...). There are places in the world where so called "older" fossils are found above so called "younger" fossils in ground strata, to which mainstream geologists use a fancy term (don't remember it at the moment) to explain it away. Those Christians that believe the Bible says the Earth was created some 6,000 years ago do a disservice to it and naysayers. Since they base it solely on what ONE MAN calculated using people's ages, not understanding that some family lines were omitted or skipped over some people, as not all family lines are listed for pure genealogy's sake. Other passages are ignored or they are ignorant of (Genesis 1, can be interpreted "became", instead of "was"..."without form and void" (wasteland)). |
