While I sure enjoy quality I am not sure I like to where this is going now.

This really is way beyond of just enjoying a couple of shows years ahead
of the f*cked-up syncro.

i think he/she/it is saying 1100mb for a 45min show is a little heavy

if 1100mb is too heavy then get the 350mb version. It's that simple.

I could watch it off the air for free in 720p if I'd like, but I've got a life
and can't plan it around a TV show. Plus there's no real (easy and cheap) way to
record HDTV on a timer or something, so EZTV is awesome for putting it up!!
Thanks guys!

I heard 720p is INCREDIBLE QUALITY, before i just downloaded the regular 350 mb version. How do I go
about viewing the 720p version? I have VLC, so do I just open it in there? Please i'm kind of new at this?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

I'm quite certain VLC opens mkv files just fine, yes...

Has anyone tried running this on an xbox with XBMC? Did it work without
skipping or is it too high quality for the xbox to handle? I've heard 720p avi
files don't work well on xbox's but I've heard good things about mkv at 720p.
I'm under the impression they use less cpu power.

h264 requires a lot of CPU power, I *very* much doubt XBMC would have a hope in
hell of playing it.

As much as I love better quality pictures, I would so hated having to go back
and watch my tv shows on this computer. I have an xbox that wont play this file,
I also have a Media Center I bouth a couple monhts ago. so if anyone out there
still recaping the 350mb files that Im used to, I would appreciate it.

I appreciate having the choice for these episodes, but I kinda wish that the 350
mb versions (plain jane HDTV releases) would be listed here as well.

For those of us not in the know, can someone list (or give a link with) the
differences between this release, the HR release, and the standard HDTV release?
