Part 3: Cocaine Documentary combining compelling real-life stories and stunning computer graphics to explore how cocaine creates its highs and its lows. Cocaine, once a drug exclusively for the rich and famous, is now the most popular class A drug in Britain, with more than 1.2 million people taking it in the UK in 2009. The film follows three users on nights out on coke and uses cutting-edge computer graphics to journey inside their bodies and brains to find out how the drug creates its highs and its lows. For some cocaine is the ideal addition to a night out, but for others taking it became a life-changing event, including the young man that needed a pacemaker fitted at just 17 after cocaine gave him a heart attack and a patient undergoing surgery to repair a nose torn apart by too many lines of coke. Britain's leading experts help explain the truth behind cocaine's controversial reputation - the perfect pick-me-up or a killer class A? |

Will defiantly be watching this, I loved the other two shows, mainly how it goes through technical details of what it is doing to the brain & body. also how the body absorbs it when taken (from its different ways). and the effects it has on people. hope they make some more of the other drugs in the future. Thanks. |

yeah the shows were really accurate i watched the first one to see if they were bullshiting people like "Above the influence" & "FRANK" tv ads but i liked their approach. Professional, scientific and not negative, so i watched the other ones too. They should make about heroin meth and other hard drugs, so people could get some more info plus by watching these anybody can understand why weed should not be considered a drug but a recreational / medical herb. |

On weed, I don't really want to advocate any drug use really but will take the time to say Alcohol and Tobacco are more harmful than THC. Besides American and pretty much the UK are already "Stoner" nations with Weed being unbelivably easy to get, and it is clear to anyone that Booze is the biggest problem in the UK, I certainly dont think you would see an increase in usage if you legalized it. The rest of the shows whilst informative gave too positive a message. I would never want my kids thinking it was ok and relatively risk free to drop an xtc bomb or do a few lines of coke |
