Is this meant to be blurry in half the scenes? Looks like a bad encode to me.

I noticed the blurriness too, but it aired like this as well - this was an intended effect as a throwback to
the 80's. At times I did find it distracting. Great episode though!

Good ep but man was it blurry as fuck what the hell were they thinking it looks like a crappy cam job movie release
someone shoulda slapped em round the ears when they decided to do that..... and at times you can still see Walter is alot
older than supposedly portrayed anyone would think they'd never heard of Photo shop

and to the unloaders can you please stop using the stupid hexagon tracker it never works

It may have been intentional to look more 80s like - just a guess

Yeah, that is *definitely* an intentional effect. I thought it was well done, but then again I was
around back then and so the nostalgia trip worked on me

I hated the blurry effect. I don't remember TV in the 80's being like that.
In a few scenes, it reminded me of watching a 3D film without the glasses on. Very annoying.

I too thought it looked like the 3D effect without the glasses.

it was a very badly chosen effect for the episode, looks like crap for no reason.

yeah i was around in the 70's and even B/W TV didn't look like that and if yours did in the 80's then you must of had bad
signal reception.... The effect sucked hairy monkey balls, i'd have to agree 3d effect without the glasses on is pretty
accurate
