The Himalayas formed when India smashed into Asia--propelled by plate tectonics. Everest is still rising but its height is limited--extreme erosion counteracts and limits the amount of uplift. |

Why do these episodes seem jerky when playing? It is especially noticable when the camera is panning. I see these 'microstutters' sometimes in other video files, but it seems far more pronounced, and irritating, in this particular series. Is there anything about the format of this file, and others from the series, that may cause this? |
