These SAiNTS DSRips are encoded in such a way that it crashes the audio decoder
or processor used by XBMC. Kind of annoying, and if any SAiNTS guys read this,
please change your audio encoding scheme. I have to reencode these eps myself
(audio, anyway) and i am sure there are a lot of people who download them that
do not have the technical skills to fix it themselves, and XBMC is a common
enough media player that I think it should be fixed.

Secondly, a DSrip is captured from a digital MPEG stream via a direct tv tivo,
or dvb pci card, or something similar. There is no analog conversion of the
source (sometimes called a pdtv) so the quality can be very good, if encoded right.

Or take the "non-scene" release which is usually out, oh 12 hours before these
show up here.

XBMC is a media player on Xbox, not a windows media player. and yes, i am aware
i can download different releases, and i am aware of other ways around the
issue. But what i am suggesting is easy, and will affect more than just one
user, like all the suggestions made.

It's a simple suggestion and if you aren't one of SAiNTS' encoders, or cannot
contact them, then it's not really necessary to respond. I have corrected the
issue on my local system and will able to continue to do so, if the eps i happen
to come accross first are SAiNTS releases, but generally
crimson/umd/loki/dimension/notv eps are more common and make up the majority of
my TDS/Colbert Report library. Well, the ones that i didn't encode myself anyway.
