Inmerse fixed their releases time ago. I only dont understand y some releases come with great quality like this one and others come with horrible quality. Even if they are from the same team... incredible (even if the show quality is equal or even better). |

omglearntogoogle: The rules for 720p x264 changed from a size/length based format to a Constant Rate Factor (CRF) based system. Essentially now the content is encoded to a CRF value (18 or 19) and based on the source quality, content, etc some shows are bigger/smaller depending on the week. If a show is super grainy or handheld camera or both under this new system the size shoots up. Entourage is all handheld so it makes sense. Friday Night Lights suffered the most under this so its both super grainy and handheld. Simply put if the content and the source require it, the file size will be larger. Overall it is better quality then forcing something to a certain bitrate/size. This is why the quality varies, Torrentday's rules |

I disagree. The same show is aired at the same quality every week, so releasing 1 week a 2000 bitrate 720p episod and the next one at 3300 bitrate, makes no sense for me sorry. As u know, a 720p release at the ridiculous quality of 1xxx-2000 bitrate is absurd, cuz thats the same quality of a good dvd rip. In shows with some action, the final quality of the rip is just horrible, on shows with most static scenes the quality is watchable but still u will notice horrible glitches and blocking transitions. If i wanted a 720p rip with the ridiculous quality of 2000 bitrate, i could just watch the standard definition version instead. In big screens, its a waste to try to see an episode at this quality, cuz the final image is even worst than a dvd rip ... lol, ironic but it is a fact. I seriously doubt that a high definition tv channel air a tv show with that horrible quality. U can easily reach 3000+ bitrate with awesome results in the worst quality transmittion of the worst tv show. Now, i understand that some releasing groups are trying to save time and size making worst rips of a lot of shows, and i know the scene changed, but this doesnt mean that the high definition basics are forgotten. I can suck my own penis. U cant make a good quality 720p rip of 42-45 minutes in 800 mb. It is just impossible no matter wat rules have changed. Maybe groups like dimension, inmerse and others just forgot wat means "720p" and "high definition". They only remember that when they rip episodes from "True Blood" or the horrible "Alphas" , or the phatethic "Falling skies", just specific tv shows. And other episodes that are aired in the same channel are riped at stupid quality. Wat a coincidence. |
