NUKED: invalid.proper.small.glitch.is.allowed.if.no.dialo
g.or.important.things.missed

What this means to me is that there was no need for a proper because the
original release had a small glitch in it that didn't miss any dialogue or
anything important and therefore going by scene rules there was no need for the
original release to be nuked.
This then renders a proper invalid hence why it was classed as nuked.
I haven't viewed it so I can't confirm. But if the original release has a
glitch and this one doesn't then I'll be downloading this one regardless of
which one is deemed nuked due to scene release rules.

Thanks for the proper EZTV.

I downloaded and watched the first release and its fine. I didnt notice any
glitch. I was utterly engrossed in the show though, so if I missed it, who cares

Does this mean that the PROPER has no glitches?

PROPER REASON: other release has 5 seconds of missing footage

LOL at te reasons:
NUKED.invalid.proper_other.release.has.only.small.glitch.on.non.important.second
[ UNNUKE ] .::. [ Heroes.S01E13.PROPER.HDTV.XviD-FpN ] -->> [
fine_other.release.is.missing.footage ] .::.

There's no non-important seconds so thanks for the proper!

FpN says the NoTV is missing 5 seconds. And yet they say their runtime is 42:40
while NoTV's is 42:51!? Maybe FpN's just runs a little faster, hard to say at
this point. I haven't watched either one yet, though, so I'll probably get this
one too just in case.

Thanks EZTV!

The glitch in the NoTV release was hardly noticable and I only saw it because I
read about it on here and was expecting it. If you already have NoTV's I
wouldn't bother downloading this version unless you plan to seed both of them
properly.

(Great episode btw and thanks eztv for releasing both).

Run times vary a bit between rips/caps, it comes down to the editing, I know
one release group always seems to have a lot of black screen during what must
be ad breaks, other groups cut more sharply, so it looks more like a scene
change rather than an ad break/cut, and some cut so tight it feels like it
jumps rather than fades.

I suspect some groups use automated programs for the cuts, and other do it
manually, when there is small amounts of stuff missing (like this weeks first
rip), an auto program may have wrongly detected the end of an ad, and thus
missed a bit.

Well I want to watch this episode again anyway so I'm getting the proper. NoTV
really needs to pull it's finger out with it's caps though.

And the glitch was totally noticable, I saw it and thought "Oh crap, now I need
the proper", I'm extremely picky when it comes to glitches, but that was a good
2 seconds of blank screen!

ok, well, not to be a jerk, but some people out there need to get a clue. and
maybe a life. I don't have the world's most experience, but I did some
research, and I found things out. You can, too. Just look up TDX2005. It's a
document describing the proper releases of XviD and DivX videos by groups.

Basically the only right reason to release a proper is if there is a technical
abberation or if an important shot or some dialogue is missing. If there's
only two seconds missing, it is improper to release a PROPER. If you're that
anal-retentive about perfect quality just wait until the DVD comes out and buy
it.

It's one thing to state what is considered good from the point of view of the
ripping/capping groups, but another when it comes to the expectations of the
viewers.

By the nature of what is being said, there is already proof we expect more, and
if people are asking for better, why is there some standard that says we can't
get what we want?

EZTV are quite obviously keeping up with what 'we' want, even if the scene is
perhaps still falling short of that, so good on eztv for doing that, it's a
smart move.
