Even if they posted it a million times, it would still be one of the gayest and depressing episodes ever

Well, I was a big fan until the ninth season, then it kind of went downhill. This new season has not
seen any good episodes either if you ask me. The only fun moments are the ones that refer to earlier
jokes and there is a more prominent storyline each time now, but it drags on for most of the time.
They need to go back to their succesful formula.

Interesting, first time my ESET avp and firewall blocks an link from eztv.
it also gave a warning on some icon file for some reason, interesting indeed.

also, I don't remeber seeing kat.ph as first mirror before?
http://www.kat.ph/torrents/family-guy-s10e04-hdtv-xvid-lol-t5960718

ESET note (roughly translated): "Access to web-page has been blocked by ESET smart security. The
web-page was listed among web-pages with possible dangerous content"

It can of course be a false positive, but i thought it was worth mentioning.
It is also worth mentioning that i have never received a warning on any torrent page ever, so it
seems unlikely it would be a case of 'anti-filesharing' tactics.

Hrm. I've been using magnet link only for probably the last year because I had so many problems
with the other ones.

I've noticed kat.ph fairly recently as well. I've had no problems downloading them (in fact, they
seem to work better than the normal ones more often than not) so far, and certainly no malware. It
could be that your firewall/eset is just blocking that type of file extension, which there are ways
around. Honestly though, this with a program like peerblock works like a charm. Not that I'll be
downloading new family guy any time soon since the abysmal last season.

No, Everything from from kat.ph is blocked by ESET.

It might be that the host has hosted some other bad content before, or third-party related
things(like bad advertisement for example.. would not be the first time), witch in turn has flagged
them on ESET.

For the record, I already run Peerblock

But PeerBlock is not intended as means of protection against malwares or viruses, so the chance of
an infected site being listed in peerBlock is slim.
If kat.ph would contain malicious code, PeerBlock would not help you in anyway whatsoever.

That said, I don't think there is much reason for concern.
But I still inform people so everyone can make up there own mind if they want to trust the host or
not
