I know The Simpsons has been going down hill, but in my opinion, this really was a "nothing" episode. |

I can't believe this is still running. Even though they ran out of jokes 2 or more seasons back they still make new episodes. I used to love this show, but stopped watching about 2 seasons ago. Every time i see it on eztv it makes me wanna download it but then i realize it's gonna suck and leave me dissapointed anyway. They might as wel stop wasting money and put it to use in a good show. |

Sadly, it's been much much longer than 2 years since The Simpsons started going downhill (somewhere around season 13 iirc). They can still throw out the odd funny joke, but then so can the crazy old lady next door so.... Then again, it seems to be as popular as ever which is kind of sad. And as it being a waste of money, well that depends on perspective. The voice actors, writers etc are still getting paid ridiculous money, so in that regard it's doing well, but as far as spending that money on making something that's actually good (instead of cancelling numerous better shows) I think that would be a much better idea. |
