It seems the audio is heavily compressed, it is not such an issue on this show but I've noticed it more and more recently and it makes walking dead unwatchable. |

Have you tried VLC PLAYER from Videolan.org? It's an excellent open source based player that plays almost everything and has a lot of options to tweak it to your own liking. I have used it for years and have no audio issues like you describe with the particular downloaded .avi like you seem to have. Worth a try, I'd say. Cheers, Alex. |

What doesnt it play? I know it cant play bluray discs but u can convert them in a few hours to mkv which plays nicely. |
