Well that was a weird episode, but fun. Sad to hear next season will be it's last.

Ouw! This is, quite genuinely, deeply amongst the worst pieces of television I have ever seen,
reality TV not withstanding. Its compelling in its awfulness. I had to bounce through. I hope who ever
watches this enjoys, but cringe making this really is. Eureka has been fun, absurd, out there,
unfailingly smart in its playing with weirdness, but this? What were they thinking.

I agree. While I didn't find it as abhorent as the last poster, and I don't mind a Christmas episode here
or there, what annoys me about Eureka is they go out of their way to make one even though they are
never broadcasting over the holidays, and since the season already ended, this breaks continuity of
airdate.

Why do they ruin a perfectly good show with crap like this? Unbelievable.

I'm sure 5-year olds can appreciate it.

"The Dead Zone" had a Christmas episode as well, if I recall. I never saw it, and I have no interest in
seeing this one other than the fact that there's no more series. Or are they giving it another year?

Ugh. I should had sensed the warning signs when the Christmas music started off the show.

Stopped about 15 mins in, which is good going if you saw any of it.

Reminds me of the alternate reality Farscape episode. Seems to be becoming a Syfy regular thing to do
over the top Christmas eps.

Also trailer for next season at the end, seems to be suggesting aliens though strikes me as a red
herring.

This was like the best fun I watched in awhile of Eureka. I for one would like it if they went to
(spoiler) Anime mode for an season or two also the style reminds me of the Boondocks and afro
samurai TV series.

It's much more enjoyable to watch if you are drunk. Hence, I liked it.

Yes, this is the 2011 Christmas Special (posted Dec 6, 2011)

Mislabeled, perhaps...well probably.

Call it S04E21, S05E00, just plain old "Christmas Spcecial", or whatever the heck you want to call it.

Just know that there will be a NEW S05E01 on or around April 16, 2012
