am I the only one that found the timing off and the whole tone of the show rather unfunny this week? I'd be easy to blame Katy, but she couldnt bring down the whole show. infact it only really picked up for me when Wiig did her "Flirting Expert" bit during Weekend Update before Stefon came on. the most cringeworth sketch was the Japan College Show bit. that gave me serious douche-chills. other than Weekend Update, Al Sharpton News Show and the SNL Digital Skit, this episode was a brilliant fail. which blows, cause Katy is my girl 'n all. I was hoping she'd be like the next female Timberlake or Alec Baldwin. but no such luck  |

I agree with you, it was a very flat show this week, no blame to Katy I don't think. The writing has been quite weak for some time now. The celebration the cast appear to do when they wave goodnight isn't warranted. On a positive note I found the Royal Family sketch and particularly the Ska music piece at the end of this made me giggle slightly. |
