wiki :

"Francesco's Mediterranean Voyage is a BBC Television documentary series first aired in 2008. It
follows Venetian architect Francesco da Mosto as he follows the historical Venetian trading route
from Venice through the Adriatic Sea, Corinth Canal, Aegean Sea and Dardanelles to Istanbul. This
route was taken by, among others, his ancestor Alvise da Mosto. Travelling as a member of the crew
of the schooner Black Swan, along the way he stops off at the ports that were visited by the earlier
traders and were in many cases part of the Venetian Empire. The series was also written by Da Mosto."

written by a descendant, marco polo style "odyssey"... looks interesting :]

Architect and historian Francesco da Mosto embarks on a journey to cross the Mediterranean sea,
retracing the trade routes of his ancestors in a sailing clipper from the 19th century.

Part 1. Arrivederci Venezia.
Before Francesco leaves his home in Venice there is research to do for the voyage and new skills to
acquire - not least gaining the respect of the crew of the White Swan, with whom he will spend the
next few months in cramped quarters as he visits the greatest treasures of the Mediterranean.

As EmperorAtahualpa has pointed out above you can also get the 720p as well. The Xvid/avi version
(704x400@1600Kbps) is also available from MVGroup but you can also get the smaller 624x352@1000Kbps
Xvid/avi if you wish. You can also buy the DVD for £5.50+p&p from Ebay.

Update
I see what EmperorAtahualpa has been up to. He's downloaded the separate MVGroup Xvid torrents and
wrapped them up in a single torrent. This will of course dilute the seed pool for the original
torrents at MVGroup. I've got a copy of the MVGroup Xvid/avi version - if you need them seeding at
MVGroup contact me at MVGroup and I'll help seed them or you can use EmperorAtahualpa's torrent
to download the lot in one go (4.38Gbytes).

If EmperorAtahualpa does the same trick with this 1080p version you'll have a 22.4Gbyte torrent to
download in one go.
